Do we have that faith?
Jesus said, 'If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, " Move from
here to there," and it will move; and nothing shall be impossible to you'. What kind of faith is he talking about? How can we define faith? Well let me do this through a small story.
Once upon a time, there was a little village which was, once beautiful and green, because for the past three years it didn't even receive a single drop of rain. A committee of elders was successful in keeping the people from abandoning the village. It seemed that they can hold no longer.
One day the elders met and decided to pray for one last time. They announced that there will be a mass on a Saturday evening in the barren fields. " Every one in the village should be present, we shall perform a mass prayer for one last time, more the number of people, stronger will be our appeal and God shall heed to it", said an elder.
That Saturday not a soul was there at the village, everyone was there at the mass. They
started to pray, they prayed for an hour. One by one, they all raised their heads to look out for clouds, but nothing. They started to disperse, when they saw little Robin running towards the
gathering. He was dragging something as he couldn't carry it. As he neared the gathering, he yelled towards his mother, " Mom! why did you leave me? I was searching for an umbrella." Then the four year old kid unfolded the umbrella that he had dragged, of course, with a little difficulty, knelt down and murmured his prayers. At a distance, they all heard a loud thunder clap...
Its not the numbers;
Its the faith
That makes wonder.
