Worries?

Worries?
You should be aware that Chinese have Shrines filled with monks and each Shrine has its unique way to realize
god. One such monastery had this strange practice of permitting every monk to utter just a single sentence every year, they believed silence is the best teacher.( Thats a wonderful concept but we will discuss it later) A young man joined this monastery, the chores were hard, the food was worse, the bed was rough, the thin cloth they provided was not enough to keep him from cold and above all he couldn't speak about this. So he waited patiently.
After a year the day came, all the monks gathered to speak out their sentence. The first monk said, 'Life without desires is indeed painless'. The second said, 'I have learnt to control my breathing and heartbeat. It was the turn of the young monk's turn, 'The food really sucks', said he. The teacher nodded as if it would be taken care of, others continued. It was the end of second year, and our young monk said, 'We need thicker blankets to keep ourselves from the cold'. At the end of the third year he said, 'The beds are rough'.
This time the teacher could take it no more, You will never learn, will you? All these time the only thing you were doing was complaining. You couldn't learn anything nor were you able to do your services wholeheartedly. You couldn't even meditate, because you were waiting for your chance to complain. All that you did in this Shrine is waste three years of your life. Please close your eyes, imagine that all your problems were taken care off, now meditate for a while and return to me' he said. The monk returned after a while, 'How did you feel?', asked the teacher. I felt happy replied the young monk. And if you had quit complaining you could have been happy all these times, you would have never felt the food to be worse.
The point is simple we too want to complain about many things, for some it could be a health issue, for some poverty and for some something else and waste our life time. All these worries do us no good; they just drain out our energy to enjoy life. Stop working on the worries, we have lot of other stuffs to do. Someone aptly said:
"If you could do something about a problem;
Why worry?
And if you cannot do anything about your problem;
Why worry?"
Think about it.
