Church vs Science

Book Summary by: Elijah Levi

Original Author: el barto
This abstract was translated from Ciencia vs Iglesia
I think that everyone here wants to impose his own point of view by the worst way, personally i believe religion diserves
kmuch more than a debate in a forum of any "x" website. I don't know what arguments can people use to judge the Church like this. Tell me, during the wars, are the scientists the ones feeding and dressing the poor al around the world?. Are the scientists the ones educating the kids in the Third World Countries?. No, no and no to any of these questions. For God's sake!, everyone is free to have the opinion he wants, but please, try to be a bit sensible when expressing it!.If Church has the money it has, it's because it's normal within burocracy all over the world, or have any of you seen a middle-low class scientist?th best proof i can give: what kind of caviar do our men of science choke with in the CERN?, have we really got so low?, how do you pretend to make me believe that we are product of a cosmic accident of millios years ago? ican say that even in our eyes when we fall in love lies the truth that if we are here is because there is someone beyong the DNA who loves us.Because if an angle came to aware Virgin Mary that she was going to give birth, it's because of the innocence of a time when people concerned to believe in God, in the existence of soul, without having need of a microscope to prove it, it's the illusion of a kid in christmas... it's everything we cannot see but still exists. We seem to forget the tru sense of life because we have forgotten what we've come for. Or maybe love has definetely forsaken us, and we make gods of mud with our own poverty, we care more about the dogs than the aborted children, we eliminate that one who doesn't fit or blocks our way. It's been enough of this, let us wake up.

difficult topic, it's all in how you mix the two

I believe in something beyond DNA, but well, I'm baffled at how innocent you seem to portray the religious. Is that not why we wage wars, why we hate so many others, isn't it a terrible barrier? Everything we cannot see is science and it is god. I do believe in evoltuion, it's easy to see, the world has evolved, and bugs have evolved, and they evolve everyday into a species that is hard to kill because they become immune to pesticides, and how bacteria evolve to withstand the strongest antibiotic. If a cell does it, then obviously the organism that houses the cell evolves, slowly, patiently.
