The first time I had read this book was at a friends house, about a few years ago. As I had planned to spend the night at his house for a writing-work on the computer, which had to consume the whole night, by the hand of GOD, I stumbled upon this book, and as I read this book's initial pages, I told my self I must purchase one for me, so I did and then opened the gates of a new kind of conscience, a new world which was there always, but I had never realized before.
Believe me I am not trying to sell this book, ha ha ha, needless to say the amount of popularity it already enjoys amongst readers. Every one has his version of what this book means to him or her. I would like to elaborate my own personal reasons to read this book refer to this book, or more originally just to worship the ideology given in this book. This book is not telling me any thing new, the auther is talking about all that is present in our selves but we have never tried to acknowledge. The reasons may be different from person to person, or to say in another way, the excuses( for not acknowledging the facts) may be different from person to person.
As Sun neednot prove its heat, as the hunger need not prove its existance, as every one can feel these things to know their very existance, so are the principles laid down in this book. Dr. Murphy for me is no lesser than CHRIST who with this book is trying to redeem all who are suffering , mentally, emotionally or physically, through this book. Now it is upto the patient to initiate the healing process. Even as a non-christian, Hindu-Indian, I would strongly recommend this book for the INDIAN SCHOOLS to prescribe this book for the students, and should be included at proper levels of schooling in their syllabii. This would remove the unnecessory time wasted while groping in the dark for finding the truth and the benefit would enjoyed for a longer period of one's personal life. I have gained from this book immense, I wish everyone a numberless times more to gain from this book, AMEN.
