Money, money, money. We live in a material reality where everything is about money. One is completely handicapped if one
does not have money. And, you are totally handicapped with money. Money is a drug that once acquired your need for more only increases, no matter what it might cost to obtain it. It becomes impossible to actually see other people, all one sees is numbers. One forgets that no matter how useful these numbers are for
statistics, there is a human being behind them. A human being like everybody else with feelings, goals, thoughts, opinions, etc. And one relentlessly proceed to stomp those down with a lower status, with worse statistics. Stomp those down who dares to show their human side that now are so
unaccepted to show. “A human is hard, tough, and motivated.” In some cases, yes, but a human is also sensitive, warm, and kind. Why have we made it so unaccepted to show these characteristics? Why have we made it so unaccepted to show one’s humanity? Would a human be weaker and not be worth as much only because it shows what it feels, thinks, etc? It should be the opposite. One should care for the people who dare to be humans that do not care about statistics, numbers, and incomes. One should care for all laughs, smiles, and philanthropy instead of caring for capital and status. In some sense, the majority of humanity has become emotionless robots, controlled by their motivation to make money, a motivation that even leads them to kill other humans in order to obtain it. How can one think that making money is worth more than a human being? Instead of helping those who are in need, one kills them in order to obtain as much capital as possible. To increase one’s status and statistics. One would think that somewhere there should be a conscious, but maybe that is what died first when money conquered humanity?
