The importance of money in the contemporary world need not be overstated as it is the most precious raw material with which
relationships are built and nurtured. It is not enough if one is brilliant in academics. He should have the money and skills to display his wares to the outside world to be
recognized and respected. Money is not only a medium of exchange for goods but is also
associated with the respect one commands in his group. It is altogether a different matter how one earns the money. The more the money the more is the manipulation needed to sustain it. Even family don’t respect those who have no or little money. So the one of the chief aims in life is to amass as much money as possible since no one knows when the end is to come. But here lies the paradox: till now no one is able to carry anything in death just as he sets on the earth without any attachments. Even in death those who die in penury don’t receive a decent burial. Hence money has an important role to perform even in death. I feel having money brings a feeling of security to a person. Not only that, one can enjoy social status associated with rich and famous people.
In conclusion I am of the opinion that it is alright to accumulate as much money as possible to be recognized in the society and also render decent end to one’s life.
