TEACHINGS OF SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

Book Summary by: sahsay

Original Author: yashas
My friends let me introduce swami vivekananda, he was one of the greatest spiritual teacher of India. Some of his teachings
are given here please read this -
To succeed, you must have tremendous will, ‘ I will drink the ocean’, says the persevering soul, ‘ at my will mountains will crumble up ‘.
Have that sort of energy, that sort of will, work hard, and you will reach your goal…
Never lose faith in yourself; you can do anything in this universe. Never weaken all power is yours
You are the maker of your own fortunes. You make yourselves suffer, you make good and evil and it is you who put your hands before your eyes and say it is dark. Take your hands away and see the light.
This life is short, the vanities of the world are transient, but they alone live who lives for others, the rest are more dead than alive.
Education is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and runs riot there, undigested, all your life. We must have life-building, man- making, character-making assimilation of ideas. If you have assimilated five ideas and made them your life and character, you have more education than any man who has got by heart a whole library.
Be not afraid of anything. You will do marvelous work. The moment you fear, you are nobody., It is fear that is the great cause of misery in this world. It is fear that is the cause of all our woes and its fearlessness that brings heaven even in a moment.
It is the coward and the fool who says, "This is fate."- So says the Sanskrit proverb. But it is the strong man who stands up and says.” I will make my fate". It is people who are getting old who talk of fate.
My friends these are just excerpts from swami vivekananda’s teachings.
