Life

Book Summary by: Tambi

Original Author: Jayaprakash
LIFE - A beginning that ends to miracle
For every beginning there is an end so is for LIFE. All passengers traveling
in the train never have the same destination. Someone gets down too early and someone after a long time.
Similarly the journey of life varies from person to person. The variation is so large that predicting our end is impossible. One may die before taking birth in this earth and one can make a living till it becomes infeasible for him to live.
Here are some beginnings and their corresponding ends that give pleasure to mankind.
Darkness ends to Light
Despair ends to Hope
Unemployment ends to Employment
Hatred ends to Love
Pain ends to Relief
Sorrow ends to Joy
But life is such a puzzle or mystery that the vice-versa may also happen. In that case frustration increases and undesirable thoughts make a room into our mind.
Wise men remain cool under such circumstances, as they know that life is a composition of such numerous beginnings and ends. In some stage of our life we think that we are spending the best time of our life and suddenly it comes to an end. Then we are filled with sorrow and depression. Our mind rejects to accept the present. We feel it to be unbelievable and continue to live in the past by heart. Only after some span of time is that we realize the fact and try to convince us that those memorable days are lost. After some painful days to our surprise we again witness some wonderful days better than the previous one.
Concluding we can say that each bitter and enjoyful day has to end at one point of time and come again. This cyclic process continues till the life exists to maintain the equilibrium. Hence we should not think about the past and just carry on our duty, which leads to internal bliss.
Life –A mystery
When a storm strikes, trees shed their leaves except the stronger ones all others are drowned away with the wind. The soft gentle leaf does not know where it is going and what its destination is?
It has to remain silent till the wind stops, as it cannot give an equivalent fight to its much stronger counterpart. But the appreciable quality it inherits is that it never feels discontented from being plucked away from its origin but rather feels happier and satisfied by adapting to a new place.
Similarly almost every man today stands at the cross roads unable to choose the correct path that can take him to his goal- escaping from the worldly bondage. He fears from the life’s setbacks compared to storm for the leaf and is baffled by the numerous day-to-day problems wondering how to solve them. At this juncture he should consider the leaf to be its role model and should adapt its qualities.
