Friendship

Book Summary by: Tambi

Original Author: Jayaprakash
Friendship-A feeling- no convince
I wonder whether everyone are graceful enough to have an acquaintance
with a true friend. In life we come across so many friends, some we hate and some we like. We think some of our living friends to be true. But seldom it happens that they are true to our expectation. Very often the number gets filtered and end up with a one or couple.
It is strongly unrealistic that the views of two best friends match in every aspect and no difference of opinion occurs between them. Arguments and fights happen. Sometimes even suspicion. But the sign of good friends are that they come to a common platform quickly and rectify the doubt and this doesn’t need convincing for good friends. Anyway can anybody convince the other better than himself? Certainly a daunting task. Hence convincing things can be done at times. If it is needed very often it means that the distance between the two friends is increasing.
Friendship is a feeling, which leaves the friends airy. It never has any relation with how far the friend is. The far away friend might be at your heart but the nearby friend might not be that close. A true friend frankly tells his grudge to the other if any does not commit much but does more. His commitment use to be conspicuous, thinks about the welfare of the other and do not suspect.
Frankness-A great weapon to retain friendship
Suppose you commit a mistake against your friend. No doubt you should feel uneasy in disclosing it if you are close to him but whether keeping mum will be of any use. Certainly the bond of friendship get loosened if you don’t reveal.
Hence no grudge in coming out, better late than never. This may rescue your friendship from being broken.
Uniform behavior
A good friend always behaves in a similar manner right from the start till the end without looking his friend’s financial status, occupation in the society etc.
Selfless character
A true friend does not expect anything in return when helping his friend.
Guilty conscious
A friend should have a feeling of guilt whenever he speaks indifferently with his friend.
