STUDY EIGHT:
Jesus wants us all to be part of His Father, to come back home to God… He, the Son of God, is promised…
But He says that we must be
reborn through Him, and spiritually rejoin our shared Father, the Lord, that we must understand, seek out how to make sure this is so, that we do this thing… Because if we misunderstand, we are a liability to ourselves, and become food for the shark-like teeth of the devil. If our minds are idle, our souls lazy, he will devour our spirits. But with the effort and the open hearts of understanding, we receive God’s love, and the protection of our Saviour. Jesus instructs that we MUST be reborn, and utterly genuine, baring our motivations, hearts, minds, and souls… That all of this is within us, that to do this is a gift God-given, part of us. We must remember to employ it before He and His Father can run to our aid… Instruction 1: We must be Reborn. Instruction 2: That this rebirth must be a living part of our
spirit, therefore, THE Spirit… If a part of our body is dead to us, we lose our vital connection to it… The warnings are these instructions, employ them, or don’t. If you do, you are in good hands. If you don't, you are in bad hands... The good hands will nurture you. The bad ones will use you selfishly, and disregard you in everything but their own personal gain.
STUDY NINE:
The Father’s love has been lavished upon us because He gave us His Son, our Salvation, because, for the asking, He gives the power of His Holy Spirit within us, because all He asks for that, is that we be spiritually reborn, & all that takes/demands is to look to Him… The world can’t get a grasp on that, by large… It thinks becoming Christian is far more complicated and demanding, frightening, far-off. Therefore, they themselves make it as untouchable as they think it is… This is what the world is. Estranged, distracted, uncommunicative, ignorant, arrogant… The Holy Spirit simply rebuilds those bridges, between us & Him, & between us & others, sometimes… But He also helps us rid ourselves of the undesirable, but not necessarily or strictly undesirable, always… He takes away that which is not meant to be in our lives, that which we were not meant to cross paths with, and, for that reason, that which simply does not ‘fit’… The Lord filters our lives for us. He focuses, teaches, guides, cleanses… Our hope is Him. Too often, we consider it to be something else, something earthly, or unhealthy, or both… We convince ourselves we have found it some other how… We are being distracted, manipulated, because that is a flaw in our design. Free will means we can choose the Lord, or something else, and we have flown the nest so far from His Word, & encompassing Haven, that whether knowingly or not, we cannot hope to understand, unless we turn to Him… And, we have no hope, if we don’t. The something else, inevitably, will only drag us farther away. We have become so utterly distanced from our Salvation. John; Chapters 2 and 3 flow into one another because 2 shows us that the Trinity knows what we are like… Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each, and combined, as they are, know everything we do, and that went into every single thought process, motivation, movement… The Father knows we want & need His love for selfish reasons, and so does the Son, but both were willing that the crucifixion took place to Save us… Both want us Saved, and, knowing us, still love us, because the Holy Spirit courses through them both… Chapter 3 tells us what we must do, our end of the bargain to keep, if we desire this wonderful love, and all it offers… Being God’s child will mean that we are Saved, when the time comes, any day in our future… But, for now, it means that we must live with God within us, that we have to be sure we understand His Message, and live with it coursing through our veins, alive, vital, controlling… The world are blind to us because they are blind to God… They are blind to us/Him because the(think they are, don’t realise they are, or, simply) are self-assured.
