STUDY FIFTEEN:
We are not to let the
anti-Christ blind and manipulate us. We are to allow ourselves to admit that anything
in lore that contradicts the Word is a set-up, to distract, disrupt, and contradict our reaching out to Jesus. We must let go of the worldly, and trust in our Father, God. The worldly way, understanding, extrapolation, is faulty in foundation… It was put into the world by Anti-Christ, to make conflict, and spite, on all levels. We must live as Jesus did, and love as Jesus did, and you can do both… Being drawn into the argument, and hastily casting judgement, is contradiction, an invention of the anti-Christ. If we live in Jesus, we understand that our love can encompass, and overthrow, the
need to judge. We have only the right to judge our own selves next to Jesus’ teaching… John tells us we must put ourselves on trial, but not a punishment trial… A trial to reveal our true motives… Just ask yourself, are you really of Jesus?? Is He unreservedly believed in by YOU??? Do you take His word for truth, or do you
doubt His word, like those who put HIM on trial?? Ask this question of yourself, and actively employ it in your attitude, approach, and considerations, with every single person you meet! Those who don’t acknowledge Jesus are game to the Anti-Christ, prey, pawns… They are unwitting playthings. They are vulnerable, oblivious, they are ticking time-bombs, over whom the anti-Christ deftly wields the trigger. Marionettes is what they are. They have strings, and he could pick theirs up at any moment, may already have done – Just because you’re on his reserve list, (unsuspecting and disrespectfully) that’s not giving you an upper-hand certificate of invulnerability. You’ve allowed yourself to be doped, and he has no scruples about dosing you up to keep you quiet as you sit on the shelf. The reserve list isn’t a permanent fixture!!! Chapter 3 details our choices, and the ONE that will SAVE us. This chapter tells us of the consequences of not inviting God in, and not realising that it can be done at any time… If we don’t allow God in, the anti-Christ will barge in, all too often unannounced and uninvited, a true gate-crasher. The Anti-Christ will bring the gate crashing down on us, but the power of the Holy Spirit will open it for us, and the invite is to mean it when we say JESUS IS THE KEY!!! He taught us all we need to know… I have faith in that, because JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD… Our Father is made of MERCY – His mercy will touch us. He will stand before us, and give us every opportunity. WE MUST NOT DENY THE SAVIOUR’S PRESENCE – He is the key to ETERNITY… Don’t dismiss Him as misfiring neurons’ in a failing mind. Do not label Him a myth. Keep your wits about you, yes, for many will stand before you in His name – But do NOT doubt yourself, or let a single thought make you doubt, because when you are in His presence, you will realise it – You will KNOW that it’s Him – You won’t need to believe it is Him – You will need to choose to walk with Him!!! John’s job here was to hammer it home on the Lord’s behalf, for our sakes – He is imploring with us for our souls! John’s basic message is, BELIEVE, because there will come a time when belief makes no difference, only surrender, taking the Lord’s outstretched hand, will… If He sees that you are not willing to admit to yourself that you were wrong, you won’t have given Him what He NEEDS to SAVE you from the anti-Christ. He will be forced to let the devil have you!!! He will grieve that, but He will not mourn you.
