Israeli who visit India!

Article Summary by: ashishdimri

Original Author: ashish dimri
I am an Indian Journalist.I adore Israel but not for wrong reasons. Being a realist and a global citizen ,I believe Israel
is more than middle east conflict. As a budding writer, I searched in Indian vernaculars and asked fellow friends, how much do they know about Israel. I got following trends. For manyIsrael is known for its tough military stand. Many salute it ,not for its international politics but sense of duty shown by its soldiers. Many treat it as a prosperous nation whose citizens donot know how to deal with stress. They may be somewhat right because you may find youngsters loitering around Pahar Gunj, known for its cheap lodges. However, these lodges are haven for junkies and notorious characters. One may also find many who wish to visit Himalayas for all the wrong reasons. Some hilly areas inhabited by tribals are visited for hemp and others for cheap intoxicants. Then there are high flying travellers who hardly visit major towns but create a wrong impression about India and its citizens. You may ask, what about real sons and daughters of Israel. They are very much present here. They are the ones who help a common man to create a positive image about Israel. They write, learn and share knowledge about the two countries. They are the most lovable guests whom every body wish to host. Hope those who visit India fall into the last category!
