It is regretful. there are some factions of Islam profess to speak for all the others. Nothing could be further from the truth. Muhammed did not speak of taking your fellow man hostage to torture, rape, and kill in his name. He did not propegate the slaying of innocent men, women, and children to spread his word. Sadly, however, many innocent Islamic people are being labeled as terrorists or sympathizers to their cause.
Again nothing could be less true. Whenever a small percentage of any certain race or religious sect do acts of immorality or cruelty, everyone is told about it. When good deeds are accomplished, no one is spoken to. Millions of believers in Islam practice their faith according to teachings of Muhammed and the real sectual leaders. Only bands of egotistical fanatics claiming to act in the name of Allah create the problems. Buildings being blown up with innocent persons inside only demonstrate how low they stoop to get attention. Attention for what?
What cause is legitimate thatteaches young men and women that killing is okay? Where in any Bible does it state taking the lives of children is honorable? We are faced with ideas of terrorism throughout the world. They have no statement to make other than how to kill people. Behind these groups are minds as sick as they are financing their missions.
It is the ultimate obligation of all citizens of the world to not blame all Islamics for the senseless acts of a handful of manical few. It is up to the teachers of the real Islam to tutor the young minds that what these people are claiming to glorifed and honorable is nothingn more than being a pawn in the games of terrorist chess. Perhaps these men and women need to ask why if these things are so important, why do these so called leaders not act themselves. Are they ready to die with a bomb strapped to their chest? We already know the answer to that one.
Next time an Islamic group claims to be working in HIs name, remember who the real Islamics are. They far outnumber the rest.
