THE CHANGED FACE OF THE WORLD……….I was born in Deogher, it is a very small town in Jharkhand (India).We
had a very lovely house surrounded by trees. When I was a child used to wake up early in the morning to go to school and my dad used to take me and my elder brother to school on his bicycle. That was the best part of my life. We don’t have TV at that time in our home and my grandpa and my dad used to hear news bulletin on radio, I am talking about late 80s. I was a small child but I remember very clearly that I seldom heard about any
terrorist attack or any bomb blast in India (except Kashmir) and in the world. But today situation has been changed a lot, whenever I open any news channel, or newspapers I always hear that, a large no. of people has been died and many people are injured in some bomb blast. Today a situation has been created where not a single place can be called safe or you can say with confidence that terrorist can never attack here. America and many other countries have started “War on
Terrorism” and many terrorist has been captured after that, but does terrorism has been decreased? No, not at all. America has sent its troops to Afghanistan and Iraq to destroy the base of terrorist but terrorism has not been stopped. You can say it has been increased and ordinary people are suffering.
Every country is competing with other country in gaining nuclear power because they think that if a country possesses nuclear power than his country is safe from any outside attacks. Each and every country has been using a major portion of their GDP in defense sector; even developing countries are spending a huge amount of money in the defense sector. In India where a large portion of peoples are poor, Government should allot money to upgrade their living standard but money is being allotted for defense sector.
Today in the era of globalization terrorism has also became global. Terrorism has no face, terrorists don’t have the guts to come and fight face to face. They come from the masses and after performing their jobs they mix with the masses. Innocent peoples are paying prices for their madness.
God had given us a beautiful earth full of nature and love but we transformed his beautiful earth into a battle field. It is our duty to make our earth beautiful once again because our world is slowly moving towards destruction.
