Rationality takes a back seatMood swings with needs at physical and psychological level.You feel happy when
you are able to carry your friends and kins along as per your desire. Are we also able to adjust ourselves as per others` convenience?Is it always reciprocal or one tends to avail others, dictating often as per his or her wishes?Are the ones, who dictate are one up or are they suffering from some complex?They probably try to exert by dictating. In a way is it a coping behavior or simply an assertion? Some want to be dicated. It gives a definite pleasure, which has no match. From physical to psychological support giving- is a matter of surrender or a need or satisfaction of a need.Pleasure is derived, when there is mutuality.Anger creeps in when eliciting pleasure or extending support is thwarted by some different perceptions and may be different motives.Complexities of needs inside regulate our behavior.
Rationality hardly comes to play. But emotional, sentimental communications or appeals do make a difference, though not always temporarily but leave an impact.Most of the times – communicator, irrespective of degree of rationality commands his way.It is rare to see rationality prevailing most of the times. Some upsetting, unfulfilled needs regulate the behavior. Some advocate acceptance of others` as it is, some do plead for certain kind of discipline, some do plead for
religious or holistic behavior and most pleaded is behave within limits.Somehow communication gap gets generated. And rationality is left far behind. And this is true in every day life.Uploading your thought or views on others is a kind of violence.Soliciting certain kind of behaviour, gestures, postures, following religious practices, enforcing ethics, policies also fall in category of violence.But line needs to be drawn.Where enforcement starts?Where rationality needs to be inducted? Where does plethora of discipline stops?Is there any middle path?
