I had access to Internet on computer after 12th standard, when I was 18-19 years. I have a 15 year old friend Urali who has
access to Internet at this age. I advised her to use Internet when she turns 19-20 years (same age when I had Internet access) because she'll be "mature" by then to know what's right and wrong for her. But does maturity comes with age ? No. Today children are exposed to Internet, vulgar pictures & songs, smoking, drugs,
abusive words etc. What's important for us as adults is to teach youngsters about the dangers of Internet, smoking, drinking, vulgar pictures and songs, abusive words etc. Like we faced with Internet & its dangers, ill-
effects of smoking etc , children are exposed to them too. We learned and were guided about the ill-effects by our family members, good books and good friends. Children need the same guidance about the hidden dangers witnessed by us. Help and guide children so that they become good human beings.
