Traveling In the past the thoughts of traveling gave me much enjoyment to think about
all the new places and sights of delight to see at every turn. Of course you are always meeting new people which can be an interesting challenge sometimes. Others are sharing their mishaps and happy adventures with you and you are sharing with them. Everyone is always learning something whether they want to or not. The next moment brings who knows what! Everyone capable of walking is doing a certain amount of travel, even if it is around the house or yard. It is good to get around and be active. Have you traveled down the side of the Grand Canyon on a horse or donkey? Have you traveled the rapids of the Fraser River on a raft? Have you traveled through the Panama Canal on the ship? What’s it like to go through the clouds and go all the way around the world and then you end up the same place you started out? This jet travel is amazing. What feeling is it to be on the Dead Sea where there is lots of salt and you travel this lifeless land. Have you gone clickity click, click down the train tracks to give you a thrill or a scare? The mining trains go for a long ways under the ground and it is a wonder if you’ll see the sun again. How about the workers on top of the skyscrapers-what a frightening job. Would you like to do that kind of travel. How do we know what’s on the bottom of the ocean when it is so deep and dark? Have you been down there before? Swimming can get you places but are you sure you will get back again. How many people are on a bike in these days of speeding motors everywhere? It’s faster to get there in a car, why use your legs when you have not the time. Even in the buildings people are taking the escalator and the elevator when they could use the stairs and get the muscles exercised. We certainly are thankful for the motors as long as you have the money to keep the motors running. The company that makes the motors are sure making a lot of money off the rich and the poor people. But you have to have the motors to get you to where you have to go. It seems like it makes it easier for us. For sure there is more traveling going on. All you have to do to mow your lawn is sit on a motor. It’s great to see the beauty of nature as you hike up the mountain trail to where it is silent and peaceful for a nice change and no loud motors. That’s the way to travel. Even the butterfly is doing his traveling. No doubt he was made for travel and some go a very long ways. Just so do the birds go a long way to reach their destinations. Some animals do a lot of hiking too. Some of these men of authority want to go to space and live on a satellite. If you want to go somewhere then just go. The butterfly and bird have it easy, they only have to spread the wings and off they go. But wait a minute, have you read in the Bible about traveling the universe? To the people that obey all His words, Jesus will give them wings. The people from the other planets will make a gathering to greet the redeemed of earth and they will bring the best of their gardens and orchards in this time of rejoicing and praise for the time that sin is over for the universe. I don’t want to miss this marvelous event. This will be a wonderful time to travel when you know there are no more dangers lurking around every corner for the Devil to hurt and destroy.
Jesus will come in the glory of His Father. The holy angels will be there and everyone will be given what is due him.
While Jesus is coming to this earththere is silence in heaven.Glory, glory, glory to God!
