WHAT IS MINDThe window of interaction between the universe and living creature’s i.e. human beings etc is the mind. It is through this; the man recognizes, understands and perceives things of this universe. The mind is like an active mirror that conceptually reflects the solid and abstract phenomenon of the world but some times creates its own conceptual phenomenon in desired or expected way. The mind is the sensor of body. The mind is some thing even beyond. I may be knowing my mind but it still has its own independent existence- such as my hand is very much eternal part of my body but I can not say that each and every thing happens inside my hand is because I desire. For example, to a large extent, I control my hand but I cannot voluntarily stop the flow of blood in my hand.In other words, the mind is place wherein living beings feel their existence and develop concepts on some focused topics, which drastically separate human beings from other creatures. The basic essence of mind is its sensuous as well conceptual behaviour. The sensuous behaviour of mind is its organic reaction to the needs of body as well as status of body. If we are hungry, I mean when our stomach digests or becomes empty and physically needs food due to energy demand, the mind gives a feeling of hunger in me and accordingly we behave. The sensuous feelings of mind are deep as they are properties of mind as an organic substance. Therefore, the main driving force of creatures is the sensuous (it should not be understood in romantic sense but like sensory feelings) behaviour of mind. In animals it is the only this phase exists. Hence, the happiness sorrow, hunger, sex and thrust all these things are deeply reflected in the organic layer of mind. The mind as an organ has the capacity to feel and perceive about the past, present and future phenomenon. In this way, the mind has the virtue of feelings and creator of thoughts as well. When we sleep the organic aspect of mind works in the same way minus its outwardly consciousness. The conscious or aware mind is that position when being awake, we feel our existence and at the same time being orbited by an ambience of consciousness. This consciousness makes us feel alive and alert. Thus, the consciousness, which I exemplify as cloth of mind (organ), is the mind in action. Mind (organ) in action means the mind in area of deemed consciousness and consciousness perpetually interacts with the entire phenomenon that is part of focus with specific human being. A man may be sitting and his organic mind in perfect synchronization may be doing interaction with its consciousness spectrum that may be busy in pondering or watching some thing.
All these sensory organs as ear, eye etc, are directly linked with organic mind. Our conceptual mind only understands this all in specific perspective through them. The mind as an organ has the capacity of virtual, logical and imaginative faculties, which is unique. It is not a passive machine but it has the capacity to make permutations and combinations in existing realities in its virtual world and then giving new dimensions. It is not a mirror but an active mirror or intelligent mirror. Another dimension of mind is memory. The memory aspect of mind is again the feature of organic mind (like hard disc of computer) but it is retrieved by conceptual mind after relating to certain set of circumstances. After talking these things, I would like to come back again on the same issue what is mind. The mind is an organ in the living, non-living or growing creatures, which feels the existence and needs of body. It gives a platform to body wherein it can store the memories for further use. It is a tool, which has the capacity to think in given or probable circumstances in a futuristic or vice versa way, logically or illogically. The application or mind in action has unique integrative features. The conclusion of mind until and unless otherwise cultured gives similar conclusions in every creature. For instance, I am sitting in the car and my friend is driving- if some vehicle abruptly stops in front of us we both react similarly while putting pressure on the break paddle or turning the steering. This shows that conceptual dimensions of mind may differ academically but operationally they have tendency to behave similarly with individual specific orientations still giving macro- similarities. It is this virtue of mind which gives me logic to perceive that rationally or conceptually all the creatures of the universe are integrated but they are separated existentially- the unification of great sprit is the nature itself.
