meditation

Book Summary by: sangita

Original Author: chetana
Meditation The world do not deserve to be mediated on for the simple reason that something which is not present at all times,
at all places and is actually transient and insentient, cannot be attained through meditation. Hence mediation on such things is futile. Man is always free to attain that which is available just by abandoning one’s wrong notions, for one is ever free in the act of renuncition. Yoga, knowledge and love –these are not fruits of any action. They are directly related to the purification of the chitta.once the chitta is purified, it automatically brings accomplishment in yoga-to-yoga aspirant, in love to an aspirant of devotional love and in knowledge to a contemplative seeker. The lord alone deserve to be mediated upon; for he alone, who is eternal, omnipresent and self-effulgent can be attained through chitta.chitta (our mind) control can be achieved through mediatation. Renunciation of inauspicious resolve automatically leads to fulfillment for auspicious resolve and endows one with superior pleasure. One not even satisfied with the bliss of yoga, does get the course of elevation through viveka, leading to liberation but the rare one who is not interested even in liberation is blessed with the love supreme. All one needs is to trust god and accept him’s as one’s own. Mediation helps to have blessed of god.
