Assume that you have recently finished your first year as mayor ofyour city. At the end of the year there is $1 Million dollars
left inthe budget. You must spend this money within your community. What wouldyou spend it on and why?The best
investment for anyone is education; surely I would try my best to help any schools within the community. With an investment we have to put in to get out, if we place our investment in the right place, we can earn more than we expected to earn in the beginning. Education is the
foundation for every thing. Helping students with books and supplies would surely increase their learning potential. There are many children today who do not do well, because they cannot afford to purchase the books needed to obtain knowledge for the classes they take, or they don’t have access to a pc which can significantly help them through the school year. I would make it mandatory that every school have computer services for the children to use. Also I would have services in place so that many children with disabilities will have a chance to learn. By offering children with disabilities, a chance to attend school services at as much schools as possible. I would also establish tutor services by which students that have a learning disability, can have and opportunity to catch up in classes which they may have fallen behind in. Last but not least, I would encourage students to learn by offering different prizes and gifts to those that do well and all those who haven't done so well. In doing this the ones that have good grades would be motivated to keep doing their best, and the ones that haven’t done so well will keep trying harder, and won't feel as though their work is not appreciated. Its like building a house we have to start from the foundation and come up, with a solid foundation we know that the house which we have constructed will stand tall for many years to come.
