series is so famous that almost all her books sell about 50 million copies.That's a lot of copies.Just imagine how much money she'd be getting.Before running away with the fact that she's rich,think about her past for a while.Rowling used to be a pauper without proper accomodation and improper availability of food.She was idle almost the whole day and she used that time to good effect.She decided to
write a book about a boy who'd lost his parents and have to live with an unfriendly aunt and uncle.Rowling was in a similar state which inspired her to write the book.She finished her first piece of work called 'Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone' in 1999 and sent it to 'Bloomsbury Publications' to get her work published.Bloomsbury refused to publish it thinking that the book was too childish with wizards,magic etc.But Rowling didn't give up.She requested them time and again for two months until they got frusrated and agreed to publish it.She was paid 2000 pounds for the book.The book turned out to be a great hit selling more than a million copies.As soon as her second work 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets' became a hit,there was no doubt.She would continue writing this series and would be one of the most reknowned authors.She now resides in London and is one of the richest of women in the world.
