My First Plane Ride

Article Summary by: sulpot

Original Author: Sulpot
Last week,  I  experienced my first airplane ride.  I was so excited that  a day
before boarding,
I could eat and sleep little.  But I talked a lot.  I told my friends,
my neighbors,  my cousins, the friends of my cousins and even my dog, that
I will be riding in a plane.  I was full of air, and this was what happened.
The plane was a Cebu Pacific. I could barely hide my excitement while
ascending the glistening aluminum stairs.  Inside the plane, I was led to my designated
seat,  which was a window seat.  The passenger on the aisle seat
beside me was a middle aged lady who asked me if we had met before, and to
which I  replied  no, we have not met, but it might had been another person with
facial features similar to mine.   I could have continued on,
but  stopped as I  begun to hear rumblings in my
stomach.
A stewardess was now demonstrating the 'how to' procedures which all  of
us  pasengers  were intently listening to when I again felt
the rumblings.  I focused  my mind on the demo so that I may
mentally control the on-going turmoil that I felt  in my stomach.
The beautiful stewardess was now demonstrating how to put on a life
jacket and proceeded to point  the air inlet where you have to
blew air into it to make it  expand, like a baloon.  I was
now perspiring  from trying to control  myself.  The
stewardess was now opening the air inlet with her manicured fingers.
It seems I cannot hold it anymore.  The stewardess was now
placing the small tube air inlet to her mouth to blew air into the life
jacket to inflate it
.
The silent and focused attention of the plane passengers were suddenly
disturbed by the high pitched sound of escaping human gas,
followed by  a strong odor.  I was the first one to cover my
nose and then looked innocently at the middle aged lady besides me,. She then also covered her nose  and
accusingly directed her glare at  a woman  at the opposite
aisle Everybody was now covering their noses and looking accusingly at
one another.  I cannot help blaming myself  for being too talkative  about  my first
airplane ride that might had been  the  cause  for  the accumulation  of gas  in my
empty stomach as I can barely eat from my excitement.
