The life of Pedro is one of pure monotony. Because just like me, he believes
that llife is nothing more
than a routinary thing. Eating, Tv, fucking, sleeping,
eating, working, eating again, TV again and sleeping again. and so on and so
forth. And just like me, he sees himself as nothing much of a person. And just
like me he has shallow pleasure points.
He enjoys life as it pass by him. He laughs heartily at simple jokes and even
when the joke is on him, he would tend to laugh even more. Pedro also read
books, just like me. But simple ones, like the reader''s digest. The last time I saw
him read a book was a novel by Paulo Coelho. And
that was also the last time
I saw Pedro, as I knew him.
I dunno what gives, but after that read, Pedro became a
library addict, spending
all of his free time in a public library. Six months later, he took a government exam
that would reveal his hidden extra
ordinary IQ, and was then advised to undergo a
physical exam for a government career. That was the last news item I heard of my friend Pedro.
Then just this morning, I meet his sister who was so excited to tell me that my friend
Pedro is now training to be a pilot. A pilot! My whole childhood was devoted to
dreaming of planes and being a pilot. Now here comes a very ordinary
guy who
happens to be my friend as we share the
same ordinary routine in life.
Until....yeah that is it.
I''ve got to find that Coelho book ........
