shades of life

Shades of life.   Anupama Sharon   One of the most desired topics for billions of writers from creation has been
about life. Scholars down the ages have written loads of books on life. No matter how much is written under this subject there is always room for more. In this article I have tried to express my views about life and the way of the world. Life is a pattern of many colors. It is a combination of happiness and misery. Of giving and receiving. No one has really understood either life or the way of the world. It remains a mystery. Day after day the sun rises and sets, the wind blows, the river flows, the seasons change this goes on and on for generation and generations. People fall in love and fall out of love. You can never understand how a new life begins in the womb of women. You love someone and marry some other person. This has happened in the past and will happen again in the future.  The result you suffer in silence there is no one to understand what you are going through. Yet the world goes on and on. We are nothing. The sun, the river, the wind were all here long before us and will remain long after we return to dust.  In the end there is no difference between a dead dog and a dead king, both are left to decay. The sun, the rivers, the wind remain but we don’t. No wonder life can seem to be as Shakespeare wrote “full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. Life is useless. No matter how hard you work the work is never completed. No matter how much money you have you always want more of it. No matter how much knowledge you gain, there is room for more. No matter how hard you strive for happiness but you are never happy. It does not profit a man to gain knowledge, to accumulate wealth, or to be a popular figure. At first all this give you some degree of fulfillment but sooner or later these things are not able to give you satisfaction soon you realize that you are not happy and the quest for happiness continues. Another thing which I found out in this world and which hurt me is the manner in which people live their life. People who have no place for values, morals are the ones who are happy and live life to the full. Love and marriage have lost their sanctity and have become a big joke.  At the same time men and women who are committed to a relationship, who preserve and protect their love and purity, both of the heart and the body, keeping it for just one special person are left with nothing but sorrow, grief, heartaches and misery. Marriage and family remain only a distant dream in the lives of such individuals. Yet life is beautiful it should be lived in the beauty of holiness. We should be grateful for all that we have because everything that we have comes from God- be it money, health or food. All should taste the joy of committed and lasting love for it’s the only thing under the sun which makes sense in the long run. True love is not just a passing notion but something which is irresistible besides being everlasting. Joy and misery are a part of life. Life itself, in the best of circumstance can be hard. Use every adversity as an opportunity to come closer to God.  Sorrow may sadden your face but it will certainly shape your understanding. Write your abstract here.
