DOES COMPUTER TRULY SIGNIFY THE SIGN 666?
A group of boys saw one optometry course that has as its code: OPT 666
(hospital practice). They asked a rhetorical question: “What type of course must have such code”. No knowledgeable Christian would ordinarily like to have anything to do with something that has number 666.
Computer, an electronics device is today faced with the same destructive prejudice and criticism. But the question is, is computer really the mark 666?
Hear these, “he required everyone great and small, rich and poor, slave and free to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name or the beast or the number representing this. Wisdom is needed to understand this. Let the one who has understanding solve the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, *His number is 666* (Rev. 13:16-18, NLT), analyzing this question from biblical perceptive, computer being an electronic device can’t be man or beast as recorded by the bible.
The calculation below which I strongly believe is nothing but a product of mental chemistry; have been made by some writers to buttress the point that the computer truly signifies the mark of the beast.
Hint each alphabet is equivalent to numerals from 1 to 26.Therefore, A, B, C is equal to 1, 2, 3. Each alphabet that make up the word computer stands for a particular digit – multiplied by six (6). And the products are added to get the total of 666!
C 3 x 6 = 18
O 15 x 6 = 90
M 13 x 6 = 78
P 16 x 6 = 96
U 21 x 6 = 126
T 20 x 6 = 120
E 5 x 6 = 30
R 18 x 6 = 106
Total======== 666
Distinguishing facts from fiction, the above result is nothing but hypothesis and cannot be solely believed on, if we see computer as 666 because of the internet, why then do we have bible and religious websites in the said internet?
A rational being ought to know more about this mysterious world of ours. We have come of age and should not allow our subconscious minds to continue wallowing in superstition and sheer fundamentalism. A man who had gone through the world of occultism has these to say about this mark.

In conclusion, nobody has a monopoly of general
