A salacious girl was in a conspicuous hot-mini-skirt. Even a
living saint couldn't pass by without a second look at
her voluptuous
appearance. Infact, she was charming, vivacious, but immoral in
physical outlook. A derelict, haggard and unkempt madman saw her; his
insanity suddenly went out his mentality. WONDER, THEY SAY, SHELL
NEVER END! As the obscene girl was about to buy banana, her money
failed down. As she wanted to pick the money, she bent down. The
insane man who was standing by; saw what he couldn't resist despite
his mental condition. He rushed her immediately, both of them were on
the ground. DOING WHAT? ARE YOU ASKING ME? Before people on the road
side could come for her rescue; she was already frontal naked. The
sympathizers started beating the madman, he cried bitterly and said-
was she not the one who invited me?
MESSAGE- Dress the way you want to be addressed is no longer a new
slogan. In any gathering, be it wedding ceremony, traditional
marriage, and funeral event or sport festival; mode of dressing is as
crucial as the event itself. Right from the age of
biblical Adam and
Eve¡± up to our present generation; man has always covered his nudity
with vegetable leaves, dried skin of wild animals and fabrics of all
kinds, Presently.
Even around 1920s, when Africans did went their daily
businesses without clothing to cover what is in between their legs: it
was westerners who first saw the need to stop them from parading
themselves like sixteenth century slaves! It¡¯s quite unfortunate that
what happened years back is now repeating itself in a modernized way.
We keep on grumbling over raping or sexual molestation. But moralists
and moral instructors of our age have not taken time to educate our
people on indecent dressing; which is one of the contributory factors
of the sexual crime.
When I look at many of our daughters in various institutions
of higher learning, I wonder why people are proud of what they should
be ashamed of! If what so-called modern fashion is exposing our
sensitive parts, then; what do we tell naked women on the streets to
do? Could the above story be true? Yes! It is a typical example of
what lewd dressing could culminate into. I must state emphatically
that; apart from unnecessary display of or sheer egoism many people
appear the way they do-just to attract attentions. We know very well,
in our society-different dress code is meant for a particular sex
group. And wearing any cloth contrary; is nothing but to be seen as a
goat among the sheep.
To female preachers, people could only pay heed on your
teachings if you live by example both in character and appearance. How
many men have you pushed into temptation because of the way you dress?
Have you realized that people could just visit your prayer around to
watch your sexy wears? Do you know that female wearing
trousers are a
calculated attempt to violet or disobey the world of Almighty in
Deuteronomy chapter twenty two, verse five (Deut. 22:5)? No matter how
you try to bastardize this vary biblical verse, the truth remains; in
our culture trousers is still basically for males. LET US DRESS THE
WAY WE WANT TO BE ADDRESSED!
