freelancing talents before? Or you are still freelancing talents now? Yes, it's freelancing talents, who
are not attached to any talents agency.
If you were or you are
freelancing talants then you probably will know how the way of the freelancing agents work. You must be known, realized and found out that most of the times, your payment are very very low with the job scope that you are doing and another matter is, every other freelancing talents is getting the different payment. It did happen and still happening until nowadays.
Normally, the principal, who is the direct client will assign an agent to find or search talents for their events. For example:
He/She assigned Agent A,
Agent A taken about 50% commission from the total payment of the client and assigned Agent B to do work,
After 50% been taken, Agent B may find some freelancing talents, taken 30%, and others will assign to Agent C to do (that is why the payment of the freelancing talents are always different!),
Agent C will take another 20% commission of the price that Agent B given.
So you can calculate now:
Client gives :RM 300 / freelancing talents
Agent A: taken 50% (RM 300 - 50%) = RM 150
Agent B: taken 30% (RM 150 - 30%) = RM 105
Agent C: taken 20% (RM 105~100 - 20%) = RM 80
This is how the situation comes to the end.
Attention to all the freelancing agent, please do not be so 'bias', freelancing talents are the one who doing the job, not you. Please do not take so much of the commission! It is not easy for them to do their job. What you are doing now is so much over and unfair to them!
