A COURSE OF
MIRACLES
All the time we wish we could undo our experiences of malaise, which are caused by inadequate pessimistic thoughts. We would like to be able to have the capacity to think in a totally opposite, firm and positive way. Which feels to us impossible and most difficult. The book “a course of miracles” explains to us how. In this book one teaches us that each
thought has good or bad effects, in such a way that if we direct with dedication our minds on the positive, we will see that in a short reasonable time a condition of peace arrives at our interior with which we will be able to face our problems.
And to move away from those that think that it is the beginning of the end of humanity, to think that it is the beginning of the change by means of a new movement that, for others is the last one.
A
training program under the name of a Course of Miracles, arrives for humanity, for our
liberation, expiation, sanction, salvation and an effective practice of the pardon, by means of the process of internal dictation that almost 30 years ago Hellen Shuckman,
teacher of the University of Columbia in New York, received by voice of Jesus Christ, in agreement with diverse testimonies throughout the book, in which she clarifies her position, attitude and ideas of when she was here.
In the book a course of miracles, is a fundamental premise, that says, nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists. The book a course of miracles, proposes an emotional, intellectual and existential work of true liberation, giving us the opportunity to watch us, to console us, to pardon us and to be peaceful.
With it we obtain a better knowledge of our personal attitudes as much guessed right as erroneous, we elevated our knowledge in practical and pleasant form and include/understand how to make our behaviour with ourselves and the others worthier.
The course of miracles establishes that our thoughts are not neutral, because they affect our conduct, and that, when these are harmful, we always have the capacity to change them.
Organized in principle with the aim of a course of mental practice, the training program of a course of miracles was planned and dictated in a meticulous way, as much practically as theoretically. Explained step by step, the course puts emphasis on its application more than on the theory and the experience more than on the theology. It explains how to undo forms of wrong thinking and creates the ability to construct a way which allows us to perceive the situations in a more healthier way. It indicates that a universal theology is impossible, whereas experience not only is possible, but necessary. Its approach is Christian, but their spiritual subjects are of universal character. It emphasizes that it is the only of the many versions of the universal training program and that differs solely from the others in its form and its pedagogical structure to generate a mental change. Finally all leads to God.
The book is divided into three parts that are:
Text, manual book of
exercises and a book for teacher. The text, with 754 pages, is fundamentally theoretical and exposes the concepts on which the system of thought of the course is based. Their ideas contain the foundations of the lessons of the book of exercises, without whose application, the text would be only one series of abstractions.
The book of exercises consists of 365 lessons in 522 pages, a lesson for every day of the year (or its repetition of one day if necessary, but not more than a lesson in a day). In this part, some ideas will be difficult to believe, others will seem surprising. It is requested solely that they are applied as indicated that they should not be judged but used; when using they will receive their sense. They do not have to be believed, not even accepted or received with pleasure; some can even be rejected vehemently. Nothing of that matters; but it must not have exceptions when applying them. Whatever the caused reactions, these will disappear when applying
The course of miracles, is a new system of thought to return to that state of being in which we were (In God); it is the answer of Him to the sensation of emptiness of peace or well-being. The internal voice is the teacher.
Its plan to undo a form of thinking and to be mistaken (ego) is called expiation or liberation and the elements that are used refer to the process that corrects our missed perceptions; those elements are: positive thoughts, the act to pardon, the changes or miracles, salvation for the recognition of the real world.
This material world and the human body will be used to learn to pardon oneself and the others.
