A day the world will never forget.
September 11, 2005 we witness on of the most inhumane events in human history – the total destruction of the World Trade Centre and deaths of hundreds of innocent people. Two American planes were hijacked by Al-Queda terrorists and were flown into the twin towers, claiming the
lives of mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, brothers and sisters. Loosing someone is the hardest thing we have to face and this is a letter to the
people who lost a
loved one due to any form of terrorism, to
let them
know that the world will remember the unsung heroes and to make sure that know that there are still good people out there. Many of us
feel angry at God and it is part of the grieving process to feel angry, but life is beautiful and our departed
ones were beautiful. To stop living will be unfair to them, because I know they would have feel the same way if the roles were changed, that is why we must continue to live for the sake of them.
To the World
We were witness to the lives of God’s greatest creations – the lives of our loved ones. God has a plan for all of us – and although he took our loved ones away, and although in such a horrific manner – always know that this was part of a bigger plan. It is unbelievable to know that human beings can be capable of such atrocious acts, and to use religion in such a perverse way is beyond the boundaries of sanity – and God will not let these acts go unpunished. We were given an opportunity to love and get loved in return by amazing people, and we must let the memories of these remarkable people carry us through the dark days. I know it is hard to forget and to let go, but if we put our lives on hold we will give the demons out there the gratification of success. This is a cruel world we live in, but for every cruel action there hundreds of good out there, and love should not be measured in how long we love or how deep we loved, but in the way we were loved in return. This love, the love of our loved ones, will then lead us on this troubled journey and light our way till we shall meet again. We must stop contemplating on what might have been, or what was, we must take the memories of our loved ones to tomorrow. God has a lot of in store for us and let us take each day, step by step, and live life to the fullest they way they wanted us to. We will then find our way.
