The Effects of Recycling

Article Summary   by:tessevans     Original Author: Tess Evans

In today''s world everyone can clearly see how human intervention has corroded our environment to impeccable conditions. Certain sections on earth are disintegrating and being polluted by scraps and trash left by careless humans. Pretty soon we will not even have a rain forest in existence because of the amount of garbage that is not recycled. We would experience a healthier and a more protected world if everyone realized how imperative it is to recycle, not just to feet great about doing a good dead, but because the reverse affects would be amazing. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), from a study in the year 2000, the average amount of trash created by people currently living in the United States is over 4 pounds of trash and other wastes each and every day. This is a magnificently large percentage for just one person alone. With this statistic, imagine how many earthly attractions and regions will be destroyed from accumulations of garbage. A number of aspects will be highly consequential if these non-recycling rates continue to increase. Our landfills are already too full with non-degradable items and trash that are renewable, but we have to make people see what this is doing to our environment. The second of many is the atmosphere. It''s not just the burning of fossil fuels that destroys our protection layers, but also piles of waste. There have been scores of important secrets revealed in the rain forests, but without recycling our wastes, the rubbish will completely encircle and swallow the forests whole. There are also water waste management companies that help keep our water safe to drink and non-polluted. All of the negatives of not recycling, however, spell disaster for citizens of the world. If we all take part in recycling, then the effect of this event would be the perseverance of our natural resources, thus saving sections of the earth for inhabitance of humans stretching out the amount of time we are all here. Waste consists of everything from paper and plastic to metal and copper. Most people usually do not give this issue a second thought, but in order to start saving our planet, recycling is the best way to show how committed we are to making our world a safer, healthier place to live. There are many ways to help in the act of recycling, even if you think you are too young to do anything useful.
One way is to begin is with schools across the nation. You can talk to your school administrators to set up programs to get kids involved with recycling. This is probably the easiest step to help the cause. Anybody can get neighborhoods involved in projects to recycle too. This is a very creative and affective way to insure that people are doing their part to conserve our atmosphere. You could even go as far as the government to ensure that recycling projects are definitely being established. In fact, many factories and businesses are already doing their share of recycling and are helping to spread this urgent message. Our communities are setting up recycling centers and have been here for years, but people have chosen the wrong time to start to make a difference. Too much of our environment has been polluted and certain parts of the world destroyed from wastes released on our crust for centuries and we are finally experiencing the dreadful reverse actions. Recycling in your home is creative and easy, plus once your hampers are full you can dispose of the contents in your community dumpsters. You have to remember that paper and plastic can be recycled, along with aluminum cans and bottles once filled with water or other substances, newspaper scraps, and glass containers. You can even recycle used car batteries and motor oil. This information should be useful to people in the automotive industry that are concerned with the environment. Groups of friends and families can protest their point, if they feel strongly enough about this topic, to the likes of the President or to major consand waste management businesses. Or these associations can advertise recycling drives anywhere in the United States or all over the world to catch the eyes of the average passerby. Maybe with this concern we can get many more involved in the battle to save the earth. Nav Bar Spacer
