ABOUT
BENACA CHITRAKALA KENDRA

Established in 1995, BENACA Chitrakala Kendra has been devoted in imparting art education to all the art enthusiasts. Since its start BENACA has been educating art lovers of all age groups.
BEANCA Chitrakala Kendra has been teaching fine arts in Sketching, Painting (Oil, Acrylic, Traditional and Glass), Murals, etc, It has even associated it students with exhibitions like Kalamela, ChithraSanthe, Art Mantharam and many more by giving them an exposure to the ART World by showcasing their work and encouraging them to learn fro m their fellow artists. It has also been known for its art camps and live demonstrations by senior artists for the art lovers. Also, it has been socially responsible by providing free classes to disabled children and children who cannot afford this experience.
STATE LEVEL COMPETITION

“SUVARNA KARNATAKA” celebration, BENACA Chitrakala Kendra and its contribution towards art have encouraged it to organize a State Level Competition to participants of all age groups which has been scheduled to take place in the month of July. This competition would be an interface between the ART World and its enthusiasts; this event is expected to be a crowd puller all through the state due to the quality of the dignitaries who would be present to judge the whole event and its enthusiasm towards art.
The event would call for participants through advertisements in newspapers and inviting the various institutions, art colleges and universities. The short listed paintings would be displayed at Chitra Art Gallery and valedictory with the Eminent Artists would take place at the Kannada Bhavan, JC Road, Bangalore.

    BENACA Chitrakala Kendra is a reputed center of Art and Cultural Institution established in the year 1995. For the last 12years it has been imparting art education to all age groups. Free classes are conducted for disabled children from poor families. It has been conducting yearly exhibitions, competitions, camps and senior artist demos.
      This year to coincide with the “SUVARNA KARNATAKA” celebrations, BENACA Chitrakala Kendra has planned to organize a State Level Competition for all age groups. Invitations will be sent to all leading Educational Institutions, Art colleges and Universities to encourage participation.
