UCLA Program Script Writing blogged a newspaper on 10 mistakes they get bored with include a gem of a notion .. where the
script is ... only 10 pages and what happened to the 120! Doesnt it sound just right for the Examiner The Professor The Writer in Residence at the University to correct your mistakes.
But doing it is a harder task and a thankless one where everyone likes to give the pat on the back to the editor but when it comes to
correction then thats a different matter. Josy Blogs here has the hard task of correcting the uncorrectable, however I took it in my stride and blogged back a correction in English with only one H but then in Europe some bright spark is likely to say .. "Hasnt your name got a silent H and isnt that what the Editor means!" Probably true Pavel or Guzul or Ciara but as your Drama Lecturer in English ... Southampton has one H! However when the mistake is sorted everyone smiles back as if it never happened and consider it done but then poor teacher she doesnt know that the script is German anyway and that English is merely a passing phrase in Mainland Europe! Still I keep on top so my advice is stay with the script and have the courage of your convictions and do change that H if you have to. Be Firm, Be Polite and Be Grateful when your Editor takes the time and trouble to do it and above all remember to say "Thanks" but then you will get reminded to put in a word in German so .
