All
your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal. Psalm 119:160
God is a God of purpose; He created man for a purpose, and with a destiny. The knowledge and fulfillment of purpose is the paramount thing in our lives. There are awesome principles of purpose, and the consequences of not knowing them can be grievous. I heard a preacher on TV say one day, "Will God punish those for doing something that wasn’t in alignment with his word, because they didn’t know any better? No, because God will judge us according to what we know or don’t know. " But Bible says , " My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…..". Hosea 4:6 This is why so many of us are so vigorous about God’s word and trying to reveal the truth to those who have distorted it by taking things out of context. When you read on, you will also see that destruction will come when we reject knowledge. So what comes when we are just misunderstanding something? I believe that God is a god of revelation. That He wants us to know the truth and will present it to us, but we have to ASK Him for it! What if we reject it? That is what Hosea 4:6 is referring. Are we to read something in a passage that isn’t there? What happens when we do that? Romans 3:4 Let God be true and every man a liar…..." I believe that God’s word, The Holy Bible is meant to be simple, except when it comes to prophecy. This get a little tricky and is not for the beginner. But back to what I was saying, the simplicity of the Bible is so important. This is because he wants all of us to be in understanding. He is not the author of confusion. 1 Corinthians 14:33 "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace……" God wants us to understand Him and what He has to say to us! 1 Corinthians 1:27 says, "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; " If you think you have to be sophisticated and highly educated to understand God, you will find out differently. This is where the truth comes in and that is where you will find a lot of revelation if you are truly seeking God and His truths. I wrote this because I have seen many people take God’s word and turn it around to say that some things are allowed when it isn’t and even for justifying a sin. Have you heard, "love the sinner, hate the sin? " This isn’t even in the Bible but the Bible does say in Exodus 23:7 "…. I will not justify the wicked." Just remember this, Jesus said in John 3:18, " ……. but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God''s one and only Son." And Galatians 1:9 says, "As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned! I think this is why I am so compelled to point out with what I disagree, especially when God’s word is so clear. I don’t want to say nothing and allow someone to be continued in condemnation because I didn’t have the boldness to say , "Hey, I don’t see it like you do and here’s why…" Nifty("div.genericSCorner","top");
