If you
worship God the Father, it is also worship to Christ. It is the
Father''s will to worship Christ, as written
in the book of Hebrews 1:5-6 —
“For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son,
this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father,
and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the first
begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God
worship him.”
It is possible that the reason why God is not yet taking someone''s life
is because He is teaching that person a lesson or two — to probably
repent and be righteous. I do not call it mercy killing because that is
plain murder! God said, "Thou shall not kill."
We should not be picky on whom to worship. Your
acknowledgment of
Christ is also your acknowledgment of the Father. Your worship of the
Father is also your worship of Christ. You should not set aside one of
them. If you set aside one, then you are an anti-Christ! It is written
in I John 2:22 —
“When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered
that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and
the word which Jesus had said.”
Therefore, for you not to be anti-Christ, you should receive both the Father and the Son.
