I wonder if people still care about the true
meaning of the season? Is it all about exchanging gifts, decorating our home
and the Christmas tree, not going to work... I don''t think so! I hope that this Christmas will be different. I hope that this year people will be able to see Christ in Christmas. Because it is all about Him. We are celebrating His
Birthday! On December 25, 2007, you can be sure that you are invited to His Birthday party! Don''t fuss about getting Him a gift, at least not a material one. He is not that kind of birthday person. He cares about the guests. He is concerned only if you are going to the party, only if you are going to show up!My family and I have decided that we are going to show up this year! We are going to celebrate Christmas as Christ''s Birthday - because that is what it really is! We refuse to think of it a a simple holiday, or just a day to relax and eat, and drink, and have fun. That''s cool, too. Birthday parties aren''t fun without the catering! But, please, do not forget the Birthday boy! He came on this earth 2007 years ago to die for us, to pay for our sins. Isn''t that a huge reason to be thankful and go to His party?
