Four stages: (60 minutes)
It has four stages, three with music and the last without. The music has been especially designed for
meditation by Osho. The last stage is of silence.
First stage (15 minutes)
Be relaxed, calm, quiet, and allow your whole body to shake. Do not become the doer in this process but be a witness. Do not shake the body, let the shake take control of your body. If you do it purposely it will become an exercise. Let the shake start from the feet going upwards to the whole body. Yeah! at first, you will have to initiate the shake because it will not come automatic. But once it comes then do not do it, let it grow bigger. It sounds rather funny but it will happen if you just witness the shake.
Second stage (15 minutes)
Dance, in the way you like. Let the whole body move on the music. Let the body float.
Third stage (15 minutes)
Close your eyes closed and be still whether
sitting or
standing. Be a witness. Do not do anything.
Fourth stage (15 minutes)
Keep the eyes closed and lie down. Be still. Be a witness.
Conclusion: Started with shaking, then dancing, and then ending it with silence first with standing and sitting and then with lying down. This is done in the afternoon to let go the stress accumulated over the day.
NOTE: Being a witness and not the doer means this is not concentration. Meditation is not
focusing, albeit it is letting go all the focusing. Just be aware of in and out. If you focus, this will become attention and our goal is not attention but awareness.
