The human drama of athletic competition

Book Summary by: Robert Malficky

Original Author: Robert Murillo
Although one sideshow carnival barker,Vince McMahon JR likes to pitch the idea that he invented sports entertainment there
is a great deal of evidence to show all athleticism borrows something from theatre. It could be the pagentry, the cliffhanger ending or the building of a championship dynasty, but undoubtedly all sport is sports entertainment. There is even a large body of work to show that indeed all sports are worked and that largely the same carnie-code which professional wrestling has borrowed from since its inception, has been used on some level in every major or minor organized sport I can think of but that is topic for a different article. If it wasn't meant to be entertaining there would not be a variety of uniforms and the endless distractions that accompany modern sporting events. What would the players identity matter,if again sports entertainment had not reared its ugly head. This isn't even mentioning championships and their importance in the sporting world. There are a variety of individuals from all walks of life who have kept this hoax of seperation in place so that we never understand exactly how alike we all are,Vinny himself is a key protagonist with his Malthusian-filled programming and his own unique rewrite on history. The sad thing is all those mindless sheep willing to buy what he is selling, that he invented something that existed centuries before he was a twinkling in Vinny Sr's eye.
