Drama is an active subject and needs to be taught as an activityin education and not just reading a book or performing a play... it would cause all us dramatists to be in /short fall/So it is necessary to have a few activities in the drama/theatre room or seminar area where you can invite your actors to do a few activities such as those listed below:Breathing Bending and stretchingWalking in a circle one behind the otherForming a pattern of peopleSmall group togethernessIndividual activity such as speaking a part Learning how to hold to the characterActivate staying in /character/Jump together as a groupAct in UnisonStay in a unified groupSplit into a solo activity such as role playing of any character you choose to be!Some of these activities can be done at home in the silence of your dining room or living room but its best to find the exact place where you canhave a soft landing if your part is not physically suited to you ... change it around and make it fit the exercise in drama ....great stuff .. keep on reading the play ...
