Dramatic points to be made over the Christmas period. As I sat, gingerly, in the chair of poetry without blushing or
talking aloud or chatting to any of the other guests present.
I changed quickly into my formal dress wear in the Ladies Loo and caught the light shining upon my slim black figure in a figure hugging black Marks and Spencer dress with just the right height of heels and the rest altogether matching. I was enchanted with the pen when it was presented and instantly grabbed my green hand bag but can you believe it I fortunately had packed a notebook and pen and jotted down a few lines of poetry some of which have been graciously awarded: The Editor''s Choice Award in America by poetry.com at the end of 2007 ... the two poems are:

COMEDY OF MAGIC
The drama teacher has a role here too and its to figure out which way round to move the guests in and out of the dining room without tripping over the dog at my fellow guest''s right hand side or bumping into the furniture. It all led to a climax about 2 in the afternoon
and I ordered a martini chilled which was fitting to the occasion.
The drama proceeded and the then guests had finished eating and I moved up to the fireplace and stood rather like a great lady of tradition silhouetted against the backdrop of the amazing decor and beautiful words just tripped off the tongue ...
