Receiving a lot of fan letters is new to me so after I have dealt with my post and I am stimulated by the DVD collections in the UK enough to go out and buy a major show such as Frasier DVDs .... I have watched this continuously and it is without question a great afternoon of entertainment.
I suppose the line most people pick up from it ... and after alll I am /most people/ is "A city is like a woman/and Fransier speaks to DAD ... that DAD sees everything ...like a woman.
The comedy embraces conflict in religion and state and has a powerful message of being good to look at ... is equated with ... being highly professional. The idea of the gay partnership is touched upon and Frasier is seen to date a guy i.e. a man but then their maid is the person to whom this GUY is really intended to date. I think the parting line as the Gay Man goes out of the apartment front door .. to Frasier is the best laugh I have had in years ...
"You mean your Dad isnt gay either!" or words to that effect. Its worth its weight in gold the DVD Frasier and my favourite Friday evenings viewing .. great entertainment and great comedy in English ... with sub titles for other languages ...
