Getting back to the drawing board was a well worn expression in the 1950s but not a cliche - and everyone of us got irritated by every single phrase, nuance of meaning or familiar narrative or line of enquiry being classed as a cliche!  Somebody had to free the word cliche and end its tyranny and put in its place the other favourite word .. cameo!  At College nobody played The Star Role or the Chief Actor but the whole business was connected with playing a cameo part.  Part became another heavily laden word in connection with my country is part of yours and one has got to argue that geographically it is not but perhaps its politically or metaphorically linked with my country, especially if we are referring to a poetic landscape.

Still writing at 65 .. well I am dashed! That's true and only this afternoon I was invited to submit my work for review not only in the USA but also in Turkey so now I can stand tall with the best of them.

Theatre work here in the South is few and far between and again my public began to say that I had stretched time and our play almost to infinity and to invisibility but it was the only way to achieve top results . so keep on working and keep on getting high achievement and great results!
