I am a Canadian. I was born in Toronto. I am the same age as the Duke and Duchess of York. My parents came to Canada from war torn England for a better life.
Canada is an incredible country. It is huge but the climate is such that it isn't easy to grow food. There isn't much to do except watch tv. People tend to tell ghost stories. I don't know why. If people are out camp or something like that they will tell ghost stories.
This film is not a ghost story.
I love the royal family. They have been very good to my family as they are to everyone I meet.
I admire the Duchess of York for Her Bravery. She went on a canoe trip in the Ukon. That takes a lot of courage. I was a canoe tripper at my summer camp. If a person can survive a canoe trip, they can survive anything.
I am fascinated by this movie. Queen Victoria was a popular Queen. She is the Queen I understand the least. She lived for a long time.
It is too bad that whenever a royal does something people complain about the cost. Like death and taxes, everything worthwhile costs money.
For my money this movie will be a refreshing change from a Christmas Carol. Especially as Cahrles Dickens wrote a lot of other Christmas stories that no one bothered to read.
