The Film Cremator 1968 is a film in black and white with sinister overtones of the Crematorium where the Protagonist takes his victims to the inner sanctum and then either murders them or is in effect a sort of modern day
Dr Death and hands out a kind of image of assisted suicide. Assisted suicide is a popular idea at present but banned in the UK and there are many reports of those suffering from disease or terminal disease who seek
to end life and need a sort of Cremator or executioner to assist the suicide. The overtones strike fear into the hearts of those who watch as it seems like a backdrop to the Holocaust with the young also as victims of the Cremator and as the Crematorium is just around the corner its not without its poignancy here in this city! There is a funeral procession with a cortege almost daily . a big black limo with fitting floral tributes and as I look on from the
street level where I am positioned I am moved emotionally with the scent of death and the funerals in procession up to the Crematorium close by and then the empty black car with out the flowers or dead there any more as they are now deposited in the Crematorium. Death has a victim state focus here and it would be nice to see sosmething of life before committing one's mortal remains to a cemetary or crematorium and besides i dont like Crematoriums anyway but the film a 1968 film in Czech/Russian smacks of this end in sight till I write my way out of here!
