Movie Summary   by:SM THOMPSON
ª

The legendary director and film maker Woody Allen was on the air on the BBC Radio 4 Programme on Friday and in his talk with the BBC Presenter he discussed his films his work, his friends, and his movies. Woody Allen is keen on Paris a city which he adores and talks about Paris at great length, such comments struck a chord with this writer that I refer to them as gems from Woody Allen's comments on the "streets" "Restaurants" and of course lifestyle of Paris France. Woody Allen is passionate in his references to Hemingway, Picasso, F Scott Fitzgerald and writers of this calibre and is enthusiastic about Paris in the 2Os .................... he also talks about casting the first lady of
France as an actor in a movie about Paris and this is seen as a great achievement in his outstanding and
illustrious career as a Film Maker. Woody Allen went onto talk about European Writers and British Writers whom
he adores and put them in the context of major influence in his film career as a film maker. Allen talks about his blind spots, and how its possible to deal with it. The fascinating piece of information from this illustrious Film Maker is the figures he quotes applied to making movies, and he quoted figures such as 1 million dollars, to 2OO milllion
dollars which in these hard times is likened to a Hollywood dream machine but in his world of movie making these are the real facts and the real figures so there is a lot of money in making films according to Woody Allen who gave a splendid interview to the BBC Radio 4 Arts Programme on Friday: Thanks to Woody Allen Film Maker and the
BBC Radio 4 for a most enjoyable and informative update on the film business late Friday pm in early October 2O11: Hard work pays up and leads to a credit balance .... keep it up, the good work!
