Final Destination 1, as the name suggests is about the last destination in every human being lives. It means DEATH,
which has to come to everyone, one day. It is about a group of friends who cheat death as one of them has a premonition, which saves them all. But, as no one can escape death, it soon comes to each and every person. It has three series, each of which is fantastically thrilling and exciting.
Alex Browning saves his friends from a plane crash, which was to take them to Paris. But later Alex could not save either of them from the hands of death. Each of his friends dies in a very ghastly manner. And Alex gets clues about everyone’s death but till the time he tries to save them, it is too late. This was released in 2000.
Final Destination 2 – This sequel has a similar theme but the plot has been set on the car accidents on Route 23, heading south. Here the protagonist is a girl named Kimberly, who leaves for a trip with her friends in her car. On her way, she gets some visions that leave her horrifying and scared. She watches all the cars being crashed by a wood-logged truck. She saves all the cars but some are just left to face death. The same truck hits the cars and they all meet with an accident. This proves her premonition true. This was released in 2003
Final Destination 3 – Released in 2006, the sequel is set against a group of youngsters who join together to enjoy a Roller coaster ride. A clairvoyant high school senior, Winstead has a vision during their visit to an Amusement Park. Her vision prevents her and her friend’s deaths, but the unseen forces of darkness once again set out to kill the survivors that were supposed to die in the freak accident.
There is a Supernatural element in the movie, which defines the hidden, harmful forces in the darkness of the night. Directed by James Wong and Produced by Brian Witten, Warren Zide and Richard Brener, the movie has suspense, drama, horror and action. It sticks the audience to the movie. The dialogues are typically American with some cheesy touch. The casts have performed well. Some nudity is also there. It makes the audience face the greatest fact of death after life. The movies have been nominated for awards and deserve an applauding gesture.
