since the
southern cameroonians decided to joint LA REPUBLIC of Cameroon,during a plebiscite held by the UNO in 1961 till this very moment,there is still a state of seperation because the decisions rearched at in the plebiscite are only writen on pappers and are not fully implimented. This has coursed present day Historian, Politicians and even Journalist and the present generation to regrate the wrongs of the past. They regrate of ever signing that document. If History was reversable,then the southern Cameroonians will be the first in the world to do that inorder to correct their wrongs of the past i.e of ever signing the document in which they agreed to join La Republic Of Cameroon.
The vereous desire of this seperation comes from the Socio_Economic, Political, Educationally and to an extend sporting activities of the country are not left out. Educationally,there are basically 5 university in the country with morethan 75% graduates coming from the Southern Cameroonians commonly refered to as Anglo phones (north
west and south west provence)but with only about 15% employed to work with the government forcing the lft over to involve in crime such as scamming, drog traffiking,stealling etc if their parents don''t have money to take care of them after graduation. Following a meeting held last year,all this were noticed but nothing has been done about it. This has course about 85% of the high school students in
Cameroon to reject going to the university because they are thinking that they will be unemployed after graduationg. It is said that Cameroon is a balingual country but the head of state including his government can speak both language.
Economically,Southern cameroonians oftern refered to as Anglo phones,are wondering if they are exempted from the penal code and constitution of the country. This is so because the government cannot boast of a single inverstment in the
north west provence. Meanwhile in the South West provence, all the companies and industries have been privatise living the native to go unemploy because of the introduction of new technology in the companies and industries brought in by this foreign investors. The international AIRPORT that was stationed at BAFUT by the late president has now been turninto a military base. Also SEAPORT that was stationed at TIKO in the south west
provence has been been abadone to the native fisher men. Meanwhile, all the SEAPORTS AND AIRPORTS are all stationed at the Franco phone zones which incude LITORAL, WEST PROVENCE, CENTRE, NORTH, FAR NORTH,EAST and EBOLOWA. against NORTH WEST AND SOUTH WEST. If a southern Cameroonian is seeking for a jod of which any good job with good salary are all found on the Franco phone zone,is also very difficult for them to be employ. This is why the Anglo phone
zone records the highest unempleyment rate in the country.
Politically, politic in the country is refered to as a game as only the rich can play the game. That is why there was a civil unrest in the country due to political influence which went as far as affecting the prices of basic commodities. Also, sporting activities are not left out. If u want to represent the country in any international assignment, u must be coming fron a Franco phone zone. This explain why in the national team of the country, only the Franco phones are able to play. If u are from the Anglo phone zone, u have to change your identity and also be able to speak French if u are hoping to be seen in and out of the country. If u don''t dance according to the tone of the authorities in the country by bribing will be shifted aside. This has course many people to ask when and how bribing and corruption, will be eliminated in Cameroon. This is true as Cameroon was named the most corrept Country.
All the above reasons have course Southern Cameroonito stive for their right and the desire of seperation and independence has highly develop in their mine. But any body that is heard talking about it publicly is either KILLED or INPRISON by the men in uniform(the arm forces)and the case will go no where. A good example is the murder of MR AMIDU BEL SUIKA killed on OCTOBER 1,2001,at KUMBO.Also,the killing of MR NDENGE ELVIS BAH TASI killed in MBENGUI Febuary 23,2006 at 9.45pm and the killing of three southern Cameroonians in Kumbo. Bodies have been discover in a bush,people who were killed by men in uniform but the case has die a natural death.
Due to all this brutality and seperation,has course many to wonder if human right really exist in cameroon. Southern Cameroonians are made to beleive that secret plans are going on on base on independence. They are also made to beleive that they have already develop a national ANTHEM,MOTTO which is(JUSTICE UNITY DEMOCRACY)and a new flag in preperation of independence. They are espected to come out with a new name of the country they want to form after independence. The citizens are adviced to be ready to fight if it will come to that,for independent to be optain. One of those incharge of this plans by name C. ANYANGWE who held the post of HEAD OF RESTORATION GOVERNMENT said "souther cameroon shall be free come what"in a news paper tittle"THE TIME OF ORPHANAGE FOR OUR PEOPLE IS OVER".
