R.A. Kartini (21 April 1879 - 17 September 1904), first daughter of Jepara Major, Central Java, Raden Mas Sosroningrat
well known as emancipation figure in Indonesia. Actually, she is the
first blogger and the
oldest one in Indonesia.
Kartini always posted her blog (opinion) to her colleague at Netherland. Someday, her blog being published into the book by J.H. Abendanon entitled “Door Duisternis tot Licht" or “From Dark to the Light”.
But why, Kartini is well known than others woman hero in Indonesia such as Cut Nyak Dien (Aceh) or Dewi Sartika (Bandung)? That’s the blogger’s strength, she most known by her blog not because of she did something big. Do you have any opinion?
