The stories about mistresses can always be used as material interesting conversations from time to time. During Nusantara

Dasima Nyai story written in two different versions by G. Francis (Tjerita Njai Dasima; 1896) and a humanist Betawi named BC. Ardan who published it as a historical novel (Nyai Dasima; 1965).
Another story that is not less tragic is the story of Mariam. Dutch Sinyo mistress pet named John is having a love triangle with a driver named sado Husin (Red Stores; Witness the glory of old Batavia Ciliwung ditepian Estuary). Mariam found murdered near Ancol bridge.
