Moral character

Book Summary by: emotionalgal

Original Author: Shalini
Moral Character ….The Moral character of a man should be not
only pure but unsuspected. Nothing degrades and vilifies
more; for it
excites and unites detestation and contempt. There are wretches in the
world profligate enough to explode all notions of moral good and evil;
to maintain that they are merely local, and depend entirely upon
customs and fashions of different countries. I mean those who affect to
preach and propagate such absurd and infamous notions, without
believing themselves.Do not debate, nor enter into serious
argument, upon a subject so much below it: but content yourself with
telling them, that you know they are not serious; that you have a much
better opinion of them than they would have you have and your are very
sure they would not practice mark upon them, and shun them for ever
afterwards. Defamation and calumny never attack where there is no weak place: they magnify, but they do not create.

    Moral Character

    I think those who live their life bound to their morals are those who discover this philosophy on their own at some point in their life. I feel my dedication to my morals has rewarded me with the gift of clarity in mind's sight as well an understanding in the individuality of my existance. By how you expressed your thoughts you may have, or will have, your own unique clarity as well It could be very interesting to share our philosophies together. I think I see the same you see but in different color. Contact me if you like. Dave 43yrs, Ontario Canada
