Popper
Karl Raimund: (Vienna 1902- London 1994) Viennese philosopher of the British
science. He took his
doctorate in 1928 although he was from the Vienna school (He agreed with some of the ideas, but he
disagreed with other ones), he was professor in the Canterbury
University and later in London. About his
philosophy work, he agrees with falsification, which says that only
theories that can be proved false can be considered
scientific against the idea that all
of the theories that can be checked can be true and scientific. He also did a
critic to the politic theories of Marx and Plato considering them authoritarian
and he defended democracy.
